Sofia came with me for dress shopping after Mike and I had researched places that might have a dress suitable for a gala. The idea was to just have a look to see if there was any dresses that were worth going back a second time to try on. I mean, it’s hard to try on dresses with a baby strapped to you – and I didn’t think she’d be happy in the pram or that the pram would fit in the stores. In the first store I hit the sales women said; “I’m happy to have a hold if you find anything you’d like to try on”. I answered; “Are you sure?” in disbelief, and she replied; “oh yes please!” ha ha. So I tried on 5 dresses. One I liked and two I really liked. One of them was more bridesmaid\/ summer dress, but the other one was very classic\/ vintage yet modern. I thought this is the dress! It is blueish red lacy on top of red mermaid shaped dress (Ok so I’m terrible at explaining how dresses look, but I will include a photo later). BUT there is always the nagging feeling, maybe there is a better one? This is only the first store, and as I am in the neighbourhood of the other store I decided to go to that one as well. Just a lot of bling, not really my style – either bride, bridesmaid or pageant dresses. I had sent a picture of the dress to Mike to see if he liked it and he did… so I went back to buy it. Poor Sofia… she was soooo tired and trying to sleep and I kept taking her in and out of the car seat. She slept all the way back home, and a bit more at home. <\/p>\n
She is becoming very difficult to get to sleep during the day however, she screams until I pick her up. It doesn’t matter how many times I pick her up and put her back down she still screams :(. She wants the boob and nothing else will do… I tried for about an hour this afternoon and I had to feed her because it was time to feed her again so she could have been screaming then because she was hungry. I must be doing something wrong, but I’m not sure what :(. If she is this dependent of the boob to sleep now, won’t it just get worse as she gets older?<\/p>\n
Mike had to work late and wasn’t home until 7.15pm, so I had to put her to bed myself. I am happy to say that went really well, but I am now exhausted and will be going to bed in about 30min… I just need to unwind a bit…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
