I was struggling bad and tried to get her to sleep next to me. She was not having it. She watched a couple of Peppa pig episodes in bed whilst I slept for a little bit longer. Then I got up and we had brekky. Afterwards Sofia played and run around for a bit. It was clear to me that she’d gotten her energy back and was feeling better. Unfortunately I wasn’t… (although better than yesterday). Then we watched a movie before having an early lunch. Afterwards it was time for Sofia’s nap. She was not happy about it and we had a bit of a ‘battle’ before she settled and crawled back into bed, but then was asleep within a minute! I decided to have a shower, which I shouldn’t have done. Within 2minutes she was crying and I had to go back in after cutting the shower short. It was another ‘battle’ and she finally (after about 30min) managed to put herself back to sleep again. This time she slept for about 1.5 hours :).
\nWhen Sofia woke up Mike was back from work, but took off again to meet up with Mark and discuss work now that Mark is back from holidays. Sofia and I played for a bit and had a snack before Mike got back. Then we all went for a short walk with Pablo to the nearest playground where Sofia got 10-15min on the playground. Nani Claire came over with dinner for us (so that I could relax and get better – soooo sweet and very nice! Thank you :)).
\nAfter dinner Nani went home and Anth came over. Sofia had a bath and then it was bedtime. Once again Sofia seems terrified to go to bed alone. I feel like I should be consistent, but so hard when she’s climbing on me tearing at my clothes and saying no, no, no. So I stayed until she was pretty much asleep. Hopefully she’ll have a much better night tonight.<\/p>\n
Sofia slept until 3am and woke up crying. I went in and had her almost sleep on me before putting her back into bed. I thought I’d gotten away with it, but she woke up properly so I sat down next to her (prepared to stay until she was asleep), but then she started sitting up and smiling at me… so I had to leave. So tough however as she got desperate and grabbing on to me whilst crying. I left her crying as I was not well (she’s given it to me that’s for sure). Mike tried to go in, but he had no luck either. About an hour after she’d woken up she was roaming her room awake and occasionally giving out a very short cry. I didn’t know what to do I hoped she’d settle and she finally did, but not for long. At 5am she cried a bit again so I brought her into our bed again. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Sofia still woke up crying at about 5.45am as Mike was leaving.
