Sofia woke up about 5.45, but she was happy babbling away and I didn’t get her until 6am. Sofia and I had brekky together whilst Mike took Pablo for a walk. Afterwards Sofia and I went to a park with Becky & Ella and her mothers group. Venessa and Tate came as well. It was very nice to hang out and chat for a bit even though Sofia likes to do her own thing. The park at Currimundi is fantastic – I have to go there with Sofia again. It’s got fence all around, but it’s big enough that you don’t really notice. Sofia rubbed her eyes a lot at 10am so we left. It took awhile to get her to the car however… When we got home I got some food into her and got her to bed. As I’m putting Sofia into her sleeping bag she starts biting my hand. I think she’ll stop, I didn’t want to make a big deal about it… but then she started biting harder and harder. Finally I said ‘au’ and I guess my face distorted… because she started laughing. The more it hurt the harder she laughed. I had to help with my other hand to get my hand out.
\nSofia slept for 2.5 hours. I fell asleep the last 30min, and I really shouldn’t have as I felt horrible when I woke up. After a snack I introduced Sofia to Play Dough. She was very interested, but the interest only lasted for about 10minutes. That’s normal for her though. I think she’ll have fun with it when she’s a bit older. Then I took her into the pool with me, but she was only in there for a minute. It was too cold for her poor girl, so we ran straight into a warm shower. Sofia just loves our shower :).
\nThen Sofia played by herself whilst I got dinner ready. Whilst I’m cooking I turned away from the plate for half a second and Sofia put her hand on the frying pan! I might have scared her too as I yelled and lifted her up and put her hand underneath cold rubbing water. She cried a little, but more whinged for a couple of minutes. Then she seemed ok, and I checked her fingers and there was no marks etc.
\nSofia ate everything on the dinner plate and even had seconds. I think she must be having another growth spurt, she’s had a lot to eat all day. I will not be surprised if she’s bigger tomorrow morning. After dinner I put her in the bath and Mike got home. We put her to bed together.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
