Sofia woke up (made a few happy noises) 5.50am, but I fell back asleep. When I woke up 6.10 she was still awake. I waited as it looked like she might be falling back asleep, but she didn’t so I got her. Mike started work a bit later today so after Sofia had a snack and a short play he took over so I could have a shower. Then we all had brekky that Mike had made. Afterwards Sofia and I drove to Gymbaroo.<\/p>\n
Sofia normally has a 15-20min nap in the car in the way over there, but today she didn’t sleep. She was getting there when we arrived, so I was a bit worried. She was a bit tired, but did really well. It was our first time out and interacting with people in 1,5 weeks so she was pretty excited. She was walking a lot at Gymbaroo. Such a clever girl :). Afterwards she had snacks and drinks that I had brought before we drove home….<\/p>\n
Sofia was awake until there was only 10min left, so I decided to drive to Maleny. I texted Claire and she was home so we met up once Sofia had woken up (1 hour and 15min) and I could stop driving around. We met up at Mike’s office and met up with Eliza (Claire’s Goddaughter from Switzerland) who is visiting. It was nice to have lunch with them both. Afterwards we headed back to Mikes office – and they were back then so Sofia got to say hi to daddy as well before we headed back.<\/p>\n
I thought Sofia would sleep in the car on the way back, but she didn’t. So I put her to bed as soon as we got back. Sofia tried for 45min to get to sleep poor thing! Then I went in and tried to help, but Sofia was just too wired. I ended up getting her back up and giving her dinner before going through the nighttime routine. I then put her back to bed. This time it took less than 10min before she konked.<\/p>\n
It’s a good lightning storm tonight. I hope it doesn’t wake her up and that she gets a good night sleep poor thing. She needs it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
