Sofia woke up around 6.15am, whilst I still seem to wake up just before 6am every day… I got her and gave her a snack before Mike took over so I could have a shower. Then we swapped before going for a family trip to the dog park. Pablo got to run around with a few dogs, but seem to prefer to stay close. Sofia seemed yo enjoy herself as well, but she does little walking on these excursions… She plunks down in the dirt or bark every time and sits there mesmerised by a leaf or the dirt… Easily content :). When we got back it was time for her morning nap.<\/p>\n
Sofia slept for almost 1.5 hours. When she woke up she had an early lunch before Mike and I got took turns on getting a bit of housework done. Afterwards we went to Chipmunks. She had a lot of fun and seemed in an even better mood that usual, maybe because daddy was there :). She was squealing, and I think she fell in love with an older (3years maybe?) boy. She kept squealing at him whilst staring at him – so funny. Then she got mesmerised by two older girls (one 3 maybe and the other 9?). She started rubbing a plastic ball on the 3 year olds face – I kept taking her hand away and saying no, but I finally had to remove her for a few minutes. After that she seemed good again. When we got back Mike left to meet up with a friend for a little while whilst I put Sofia down for her afternoon nap. I think I miscalculated and up her down a bit early (about 15 minutes), but it was too latent the time I realised… She only slept for 30minutes. It was so hot in her room too, so it could have been that I suppose.<\/p>\n
Sofia woke up with a scream\/cry. Is it possible to have night terrors in the afternoon? She was wet in the back of the neck from sweat and she wouldn’t calm down at first. I had picked her up and she kept pushing me away until I hummed and danced with her a bit. That seemed to work. I gave her a snack and when Mike got back we went to Bunnings to get a little wading pool (shaped like a car). Very cute :). We also got her a slide :). When we got back we sat it up and filled the pool with water. Sofia tried to get in even before we got the water a bit warmer. She got a swim top on and the nappies off – and then in she went. She looked like she really enjoyed it! A few of her bath toys joined her in the pool and Pablo was there to watch. Afterwards Sofia had dinner and then Mike and I went through the nighttime routine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
