It was Sunday and Mikes day off. Sofia woke up at 6.30 – another good night. I got up with her and have her a snack. Then I read to her and played before breakfast. When Mike got up he took over and I had a shower. Then we swapped and Mike had a shower whilst I put Sofia to bed after a short play. <\/p>\n
Whilst Sofia was sleeping Nani Claire came for a visit. Sofia woke up straight after. She loved seeing Nani Claire. They cuddled and played together before Sofia had lunch. I stripped her down to her nappy and let her feed herself with a spoon. It only took a little bit of guiding and then it was like she remembered from previous times when we have done one or two test runs. She did really well and I was very proud. I did get very messy, but nothing a shower with daddy couldn’t fix. Afterwards Sofia was very tired (almost 30min before I had hoped), so we said goodbye to Nani and I put Sofia to bed.<\/p>\n
Sofia only slept for 45 min. I think maybe she thought Nani still would be there and was keen to continue? We played, read books and cuddled. Sofia seemed tired but I couldn’t get her back to sleep… Mike had gone to fly one of his winged projects when Sofia was asleep, and when he got back we all went to the dog beach. I brought the pink bucket and spade she’d used in Norway (thanks guys :)). She loved it! Then we walked down to the water and stood there whilst the water came in and made our feet wet. That was fun! Then a big wave came and surprised us all – and got poor Sofia wet up to her belly button :\/. She didn’t seem to mind thank goodness. We decided to head home after that, and suddenly she had enough of walking as well. She had walked FAR at that stage!<\/p>\n
When we got home it was time for dinner. She had lots for dinner, both to eat and drink. I did everything 30min early today since her last nap was so early – it was important to have her in bed by 6pm and it ended up not being much later. She went to bed with no fuss.<\/p>\n
Sofia then woke up crying at 8pm. Mike went in, picked her up and cuddled her for 10-15 seconds then put her back down and left the room. Amazingly enough Sofia made didn’t cry and just went back to sleep!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
