She slept for 30min and then she woke up every 10-15min again crying/ screaming. Finally both Mike and I were just exhausted by lack of sleep. Neither of us could manage to get up, so we let her cry… I felt bad, but I just couldn’t move… Then at 3am it got quiet…. and she slept until woken up at 7am.

After breastfeeding we all went to the dog beach. Pablo enjoyed himself – and so did we… It was a nice walk :). Then we had breakfast before putting Sofia down for her morning nap. Mike, Pablo and I also had a nap :). We let Sofia slept for 2.5 hours.

When we all were up I fed Sofia lunch and then played a bit with Sofia until Nani Claire came for a visit shortly after. Mike and I took the opportunity to leave Sofia with Nani and go shopping for food.

When we got back Sofia had fallen asleep on Nani’s lap and had slept for 20min or so. Unfortunately she woke up when we were putting away the groceries as quietly as possible.

We played with Sofia and then we all had dinner together. It was very nice :). Sofia was sooooo tired poor thing, so we put her to bed an hour early. She cried in protest when we left, so I went back in once after 5 min or so…. That seemed to make it worse, but then relatively quickly she stopped and laid down to sleep – and she didn’t move for a really long time so she must have fallen asleep. She woke up with a little cry a couple of hours later, but then very quickly put herself back to sleep. Makes me hopeful that she might get a good night sleep finally. And us too he he.

We were cuddling Pablo on the sofa and Mike found a spot on Pablo that controls he leg… That is the weirdest, funniest stuff I have seen in awhile. It seemed to work every time. Here is a video of Pablo and his weird leg thing. It’s a bit dark, but you should still be able to see it.

We never got that good night sleep we were hopeful for. We went to bed at 9pm and Sofia woke up. She was very quietly crying a bit and sat up, so I went it. I picked her up and gave her a big cuddle – I should have listened to Mike and not gone in straight away… Sofia cried as I left. Mike and I went back in and gave some pain relief and I rocked her to sleep. It only lasted for 20min or so then she was back to crying :(. Now it’s 11.40pm and she’s been crying this whole time – with occasional breaks. I started going in at intervals and stroking her hair, but then she seemed to calm down. It was short-lived however and then it had gone so long and now I just don’t know what to do. Ups hang on.., at the moment she’s actually talking to herself… She got quiet around midnight and just because I was so tired I went to bed and slept for two minutes – not actually seeing that she fell asleep.

It did not last at all.
