Then I was off for a waxing. Mike was being very weird and kept insisting I take his car, so I finally did. I asked why it was so important for him that I took his car and he said I would see… When I got there the woman I had booked in with had a big smile of her face and said; ‘SO you’ve got a big day ahead of you eh..’ I thought; ‘eh?’ and she then told me that Mike had booked me in for a 2 hour treatment! Massages and all! Oh my, it was just such a fantastic surprise I nearly cried. It was just such a fantastic treatment – I felt so nice, relaxed and refreshed afterwards. Just what I needed :). Only more sleep could make it better – and hopefully Sofia will give me that tonight :). Thanks hunny – you rock my world bæibi!

When I got back Mike had taken Sofia to swimming (he had told me he would, only I thought I would see them off). I had 5minutes to myself before they showed up. Sofia looked like she’d had a lot of fun and she was tired like she normally is after a swimming session, so I put her to bed. She protests a lot more than before every time she’s put to bed these days. She protested for about 15minutes and then slept for a good 1.5 hours.

When Sofia woke up I took her to the playroom and we played with jolly jumper and all until 4pm, then I put her down for a short nap (too long until bedtime again). She protested for about 15minutes again before she fell asleep. She woke up again just in the for dinner. After dinner she had a play with both Mike and myself now that she had that nap and can stay up till 7pm. I don’t think it was long enough though, and maybe I should have skipped the nap… Either way, after the bedtime routine she was screaming when we put her down. I went back in after a bit and picked her up because she was screaming sooooooo… like she was terrified. She let me console her, but as soon as I put her back down she started screaming again. I went back in after another 10minutes, to just give her a pat on the back and tell her I was there and quickly exit. She was screaming the entire time… but then as Mike was about to go in 10minutes later she had stopped and was finally finding her sleep. Poor thing. I felt miserable, like I should have handled it differently. I did read a bit whilst this was going on, and I think I know what to do now. Key is to be consistent… so hard when all situations feel different though. Her cries have changed … it’s like a different baby all of a sudden…

It’s 9.11pm now and she’s still asleep. I’m about to go to bed.
