Mike’s first day off (out of 4) – yay!<\/p>\n
Sofia woke up at 2am and then at 6.15am – so it seems that her sleeping through was only a luck week thing. Then again she has been soooo very hungry the last few days, so it might just be that she’s going through a growth spurt as well.<\/p>\n
We went quite relaxed this morning. Mike played with Sofia whilst I peeled, steamed and mashed yellow squash for her vegetable serve. Sofia had that for lunch. She didn’t look overly impressed, but she did eat quite a bit of it nevertheless. I did read it can take up till 15 tries before they like something…<\/p>\n
Everything seemed to be going well and we were doing well for time to be at the BBQ at 3pm, but then when I put her to bed at 2pm she didn’t seem to get enough to eat… She seemed to wake up rather than get sleepy and she got weird and started crying and just would not stop :(. One hour later I was still trying to put her to sleep, and had almost got her to sleep by using myself as a dummy when Mike decides to come in and tell me that he didn’t realise it was past 3pm and that we needed to just grab her and go. At that point Sofia had been awake for more than 2 hours and he wants to drag her to a BBQ? I near lost it. I sent him the famous Husted Hansen death-stare and shushed him out the door with a hand movement. Sofia woke up and started crying a bit, but thankfully was quick to settle again – and after another 10min she was asleep.<\/p>\n
Sofia only slept for 30min unfortunately, but it’s better than nothing and then we at least would get there before everyone had gone home again. We packed everything up and left – with the dog. We all had a good time – all very nice couples. There was even a swedish girl that I had met once before at Tian’s 1 year birthday.<\/p>\n
As we were putting Sofia to bed two of Mike’s friends came over. When Sofia’s asleep they will be playing playstation. I will be heading to bed at any moment. Have a great weekend everyone \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
