Oh yay, today is my birthday… Getting scary close to 40! However the day is looking very promising. Sofia and I are meeting up with the girls from mothers group today, and as we weren’t able to go on Wednesday it makes it even more important to be there. By the time we left we were about 30 minutes late and she started yawning in the car :(. I took a chance and went anyway (for my own sanity). It was nice to see them all again. Sofia didn’t sleep while we were there, and all of a sudden I realised she’d been awake for 3 hours and she was very very tired so we got home very quickly.<\/p>\n
Mike had the day off and was picking up a couple from the airport that were buying his car. Sooooo now I need a new car because Mike is taking over the BMW.<\/p>\n
As I am playing with Sofia after her nap, and waiting for groceries to be delivered Maja and Tian comes along with flowers! Sooooo nice – they were beautiful!<\/p>\n
Mike went and got a Mazda 3 for me to test drive. It was very nice and newish. I enjoyed driving it, but would take a little bit of getting used to…. I guess that’s normal when you’re swapping cars though \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Nani Claire comes knocking. She is going to babysit (so spending the night) whilst we go out for a nice romantic dinner. Before we leave Claire gives me a gift card to get my feet done – very nice! Thank you so much! My feet certainly needs a little tender love and care \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
It was so nice to just go out for dinner. The food was good, but the dessert was just amazing! Rosewater infused watermelon and watermelon sorbet – yum!<\/p>\n
When we got home I opened presents from my parents for Sofia and myself. I got a neckless with a lady swinging a little girl. It is just gorgeous! Thank you soooo much to the both of you. Sofia LOVES her little neckless too – just beautiful – soooo great it is Norwegian made – makes it just that more special \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
