Sofia woke up at 6.30am and I played with her before breakfast. Mike took over and I had a shower… then he went to work and I played with Sofia again. She got tired earlier than usual so she ended up in bed before 9am. She slept for just 20minutes and refused to go back to sleep, so it was back up to play more. Then I gave her a snack, but once again she looked absolutely tired early on (rubbing her eyes like crazy). By the time I got her to bed she seemed to be over it though…. thrashing around like mad. I got her back up, just before Nani Claire came for a visit around 11am. I gave Sofia her lunch and then she was sooo tired I had to put her to bed. It still took me a little while to get her to sleep.
In the mean time Claire had made us lunch that we enjoyed whilst Sofia slept for 20minutes.
When Sofia got back up she had lunch, then Claire brought out her new instrument and Sofia got to play. Here is a short video of Sofia playing. It sounded really nice. Kind of like background music when you’re getting a professional massage. Then Claire made us a banana split – yummy :). We all ended up going for a nice walk. Claire walked Pablo and I pushed Sofia in the pram. When we got back Claire went home and Sofia went for a third nap. I had to let her fall asleep on me this time… but she slept for almost an hour.
When Sofia got back up we played for a little while before it was time for dinner. During dinner we facetime’d with ‘morfar’ Erik. Sofia lit up when she saw him and talk to him a bit – sooo cute. Then it was time for the nighttime routine. Mike got home just as I was about to sing and put Sofia to bed, so we got to do it together. I had to back in though as Sofia didn’t seem to be able to find sleep. However, after 40 minutes I still hadn’t managed to get Sofia to sleep! Mike came in and took over and Sofia was asleep after 10minutes. I’m happy she finally found sleep, but a bit frustrating that she didn’t fall asleep when I was in there with her.
