Sofia slept through again (6am :)), so we decided to go for a family walk. Then at 8.30 she woke up and we went to Underwater World where we met up with Kaylene and Andrew. I got an annual pass for myself, and Sofia gets to go for free until 3 years old :). She seemed to enjoy it – she was looking everywhere. We had a look at the seal show, but at that stage Sofia was very tired, so we left afterwards.
Sofia fell asleep very quickly and without a fuss on the way back. At 11.50 we arrived at the house and she was still asleep (20 minute trip). She woke up at 12.40… I thought she’d slept enough so we played for awhile. Sofia was pushing up with her arms whilst she was on her tummy, so I laid down on my tummy as well and started counting to 3 before pushing up on my arms. She thought that was hysterically funny – so obviously I had to do it a million times he he. Unfortunately but the time I found the camera it just wasn’t that funny anymore, but here is a little video). Then I realised she was tired and put her to bed. She would not sleep and was still moving around after 40minutes so I picked her up and played for another while – not realising she was over tired. But then Mike came home and it was almost time for bed, so we went for another walk before bedtime. Before that Sofia and Mike had a cuddle on the couch.
After we put Sofia to bed she cried and I had to go back in, but trying to rock her to sleep did not work… I put her back in bed and let her whinge for a bit. She found sleep without too much fuss.
