Sofia woke up at 5.50am and I went to get her. So hot already today – her room was 24.5 degrees… She had a snack and then we all went for a walk. When we got back Mike got ready for work and Sofia and I had brekky. Afterwards we played for a bit and read some books before her morning nap.
She had slept for almost 1.15 hours when I woke her up to go to music session. We were about 5 minutes late, but better late than never… :). Sofia has such a good time there. She had a snack in the car park and when we got back home she had lunch. Afterwards we played and read books. She’s been a bit extra cuddly today. Poor thing had got a runny nose and a cough, but apparently that can be teeth? I could feel a hard bump in the top gum yesterday. She went down for her afternoon nap at 1pm and slept for about 1.5 hours.
When Sofia woke up she had a snack and then we went to the library. There was two bowls full of crayons. First she emptied the first one, and then started on the second one. There was a cute boy about 6-7 years old that offered us ‘fruit’ ANC ‘vegetables’ from his store. He played a bit with Sofia – turns out he has two sister; one 9 year old and one 1 year old. No wonder he was so good with her. When it was time to go I counted down, she just gave a little smile and came with me with no issues. She’s such a goodie :). When we got home we had time for a few books (new that we took with us) and a cuddle before dinner. After dinner I put her in the bath… After just a few minutes of playing she sat completely still and stared into the air. I said; ‘finished in 20?’ and her face lit up and she reached for me. I hurried up and got her out. As I was about to put her to bed Mike came home and came in to give her a cuddle before bed.
Sofia woke up crying at about 7pm. Mike went in, but she wasn’t feeling well and only mummy would do. I sat down with her and she fell asleep on me – cuddling… and I put her to bed.
I hope she gets a good night sleep from now on…
Today has been hectic with changing nappies. She refuses to lay still. She kicks and rolls, and laughs. I’ve tried constraining her and saying no with a very serious face -but it doesn’t work. She keeps laughing. I don’t know what to do. I don’t care when she’s peed, but when she’s kicking and rolling around when it’s a poo nappy I’m not having a good time. Puh…

Try and let her stand up while you change her. put her in front of something to play with/look at. Hope she soon feels better. 🙂

I can see a picture in my mind when Sofia rolls around and Mum wants to change a “poo” nappy. Isn’t she clever the little one, she wants some fun Mum…….-:)
