Sofia woke up proper crying at about midnight. We just cuddled and that seemed to help quickly so I sat down with her. We cuddled until she was very sleepy and then I put her into bed again. She didn’t protest at all and just went to sleep.
The next time Sofia woke up was about 6am. I waited until it was 6.13 to go in so we could watch the sheep wake up together. We watched a couple of Peppa pig episodes in bed with Mike and Pablo. Afterwards Sofia and I had brekky together whilst Mike took Pablo for a walk. Sofia hardly had anything to eat. When Mike left for work Sofia and I played for awhile before watching Rio. She had a couple of snacks then, but mostly just drink. After the movie we played a bit more and she had an early lunch that she barely touched as well. Then it was time for her nap.
Sofia woke up after less than an hour! I went in and said ‘shhhhh’, it’s sleep time etc. She wanted up, but I left her in bed – just giving her a nice big cuddle in bed (she was standing up). I said ‘the sheep is still asleep’, and all of a sudden she laid down and tried to go to sleep. I was so impressed! I left the room and not long after she was asleep again – and she slept for another 1.5 hours.
When Sofia woke up we had a snack before going to the playground. We had a nice time as always. We left so we’d be home again by 4.45pm because I didn’t know when Kaylene and Will would be there with Andrew.
When we got home however they had just arrived so we all went inside. Mike got home as well. We got Andrew comfortable with some toys and put Pablo outside, and then Kaylene and Will left to go out for dinner. Mike and I then entertained the kids and read books etc. At about 6pm we had dinner and as we were finishing up dinner Kaylene and Will were back. They’d been so quick. We talked and the kids played for a bit longer. Sofia was looking at Andrew playing and walked into the wall – the didn’t cry, but Andrew gave her a hug. Then she ran after him and hugged him back. When they left Sofia and Andrew gave each other a nice cuddle. Soooo cute!
After they had left Sofia had a bath and quickly facetimed with mormor. So nice to see her – too bad there was no real time to talk. We had to get Sofia quickly to bed. By the time we got her to bed it was 8pm.
At about 9.00pm the sheep started “bah’ing”, so I had to run in. Since I didn’t know how to shut it off I had to unplug it. I’m amazed Sofia didn’t wake up he he.
Sofia woke up once during the night but went back to sleep after a nice long cuddle…
