Sofia had a really bad night. She woke up crying at 10pm. I went in to comfort and after 10-15minutes of cuddling i put her back down in bed. She cried for less than a minute and went back to trying to sleep. However, after more than an hour she was still not sleeping :(. She was tossing and turning and her eyes were wide open. We thought bringing her into our bed would be a good thing. Why I do not know… She tossed, turned, and became more and more awake. Babbling loud and kicking us in the face etc. We decided to put her back. She cried for about a minute and then hopefully fell asleep. Sorry to say I was way too tired at that stage to stay awake and see what happened.
Sofia woke up again at 2am and I cuddled her and put her back to sleep, then at 4… same thing. And then next time again at 7am when I got her.
I made brekky and after brekky packed up for us. I took her to her first swimming lesson after Christmas. Sofia was a more ‘clingy’ than normal, but she still participated and had some fun. She loved the shower afterwards. I had to laugh as she went straight underneath the stream of water and just stood there blowing bubbles. She was giggling and loving it. After probably 15min I had to end it to get her home and into bed but I got the feeling she could have gone for a lot longer he he. I had of course forgot change of clothes for me so I wore a towel out to the car and home. Happy to be living where we are he he. When we got home Sofia had an early lunch and then she was in bed and asleep by 10am (she fell asleep in the first couple of minutes).
Sofia woke up almost 1 hours later. We were to meet up with some new friends (Becky and Ella), however Ella was having a bad sleep day too so we had to cancel. Sofia had a snack and a short play before I took her to Chipmunks. We ran into Maja’s sister and her two boys there. That was very nice :). Sofia had a great time in all places. We went in the ball pit, crawled through terrain and went down some awesome slides. We were there for 2-2.5 hours!
When we got back Nani Claire had almost all of dinner ready. She then made Sofia a frittata with lots of vegetables etc. Sofia loved it! She almost ate the whole thing! I love that she’s got such a good appetite. Then it was time for bath and then bed. She was soooo tired that I put her to bed an hour early. After I had put her to sleep Nani Claire and I had beautiful frittatas and red wine. It was so nice that I light some candles. Half way through dinner Mike got home. It was a nice evening.
