Sofia slept all the way through again, till 6.15am (12hrs!). She seemed to have got a bit of a cold. Mike went for a walk with Pablo whilst Sofia and I had breakfast. When Mike went to work Sofia and I played in the living room (to hopefully get Sofia and Pablo to be able to hang out in the same room). It went a lot better than earlier, but it’s just exhausting. I didn’t take Sofia to swimming today because of the little cold – no need to make it worse. Sofia had a morning nap at 9am and slept for almost an hour. It took pain relief, boob and stroking her hair once in bed to get her to sleep.
When Sofia woke up we had lunch and then played again. That is… there is a lot of assisted walking atm. She really picked up the tempo on that from yesterday… We were hanging out with Pablo successfully for awhile until he decided he couldn’t lay down and relax whilst Sofia was having fun.
When it was time for the second nap it was a bit difficult to get her down for a nap. It had been 3 hours, but I think I probably should have waited another 30min… She fell asleep whilst I stroke her hair, and she only slept for 20min. I didn’t even have time to finish my meal…
Pablo, Sofia and I went for a short walk to the shops where I quickly got some finished dinners (delicious vegetable lasagnas). When we got back Sofia and I played before I got dinner ready. After dinner Sofia had a short play whilst I got everything ready. Then I read a few books for Sofia before the nighttime routine. Sofia was so quiet and content throughout the whole routine, only slightly whinged for 2seconds as I walked away from the cot but was quiet again before I’d got out of the door.
Going to bed I felt like crap in the throat… so I took all the possible remedies and hope it will be good again tomorrow…
