Sofia woke up at 6.30am again. We read books, had breakfast and played for a bit before Sofia’s morning nap, which lasted 1.5 hours. When she woke up we got ready and went out for lunch (dog included). We walked there and back, and unfortunately she got really tired at the end of the meal – and we still had the walk back. By the time we got back and got her to bed she was seriously wired and just would not sleep. Mike and I took turns going in to try and sooth her and finally we managed – by that stage she’d been awake for about 4 hours… She finally just konked and slept for 1.5 hours.
When I came out after trying to soothe Sofia I found Mike and Pablo in hot embrace! I am used to see them spooning, but I am talking sleeping whilst almost kissing bwhahahah. Soooo funny! Sooooo… of course I had to take a photo :).
When Sofia woke up we played on the mat and she sat up by herself! I have seen her practise in bed during nap times, and she has been so close … and today she did it! So proud! She did it a few more times before bedtime. She also stood – holding herself up – and first letting go of one hand, then the other hand.
She’s been a bit hard to get smiling today, but maybe just because she is working on all these new things…
We put her to bed and she was asleep by 7pm…
