Sofia woke up at 6.30am. I got up, fed her (she has been super cuddly for the last week and takes her time on the boob) and played with her for a little while before we had breakfast together. Sofia grabs for my hands to go walking a lot now. Mike went for a walk with Pablo whilst we ate. Afterwards Mike played with Sofia whilst I got ready, and then it was time for Mike to go to work. I got some housework done before playing with Sofia for a little while before her morning nap. She slept for a good hour.
When Sofia woke up I grabbed her and we went shopping. As soon as I had got the grocery shopping out of the way I got her a snack, and then it was off to look for an awesome Father’s Day present. When we got home I fed her lunch and then it was straight to bed again. Sofia slept for almost 1.5 hours.
Once Sofia was awake we played for a little while. I wanted Sofia to have a nice walk in nature instead of inside, but I couldn’t bare leaving the dog behind so he came with us. I went to a park where he is allowed off lead after 4pm and parked the pram there. Sofia walked all over the park. She gets really cranky/anxious when I tried to have her walk holding on to just one finger… She actually stomped her feet – and I got a glimpse of what life will be like *ups*. No big deal though, she can take the time she needs. The main thing is that she feels secure :). She loved walking around and she got up quite a tempo certain places – and for a little while we were playing chase with the dog. It was sooooo cute. Pablo picked up his stick and went just far enough away that we couldn’t get to him, then we got close and said; ‘waaaaaaah’ and he’d go a bit further, and a bit further. Sofia squealed with joy. Pablo was very well behaved and stayed with us even when he saw other dogs on the beach and was clearly very tempted to run off. He just became difficult on the way back when we saw another dog… and then 5-6 boys around 4-5 years old. They were so rowdy and jumped around poor Pablo and patted him and bounced a ball onto his head all whilst yelling; look at him. They thought he was a very strange looking dog. We finally got away from them… Pablo’s nerves were all frazzled poor thing. They got him all hyped up.
When we got home I fed Sofia and then played without Pablo for a little while. I have tried a few times to put Sofia on the rocker/buggy thingy, but she’s a bit scared of it still. So we have played around it and touching the wheels etc. Then we got into the living room and Pablo wanted to continue, but he was being too bouncy and boisterous around Sofia – continuously wanting her to play with his ropes. The difficult part is that she want too as well, but he nearly knocks her out the way he’s waiving the rope around her head. Then it was time for dinner time and then the nighttime routine. Mike got home just after I had put Sofia to bed (she didn’t make any protests) and fed Pablo. Sofia must have heard Mike come home however and she started crying. Mike rushed in! It was very cute. That just woke her up however and Mike had to go back in… He stayed for awhile, but then she finally calmed down enough to fall asleep.
Sofia woke up at 9pm and would not go back to sleep. I calmed her down and she was really trying for quite a long time poor thing. She eventually fell asleep in my arms and at 10.25pm I could finally leave the room and go to bed.
