Sofia woke up at 7am! She slept all the way through – we’re so happy :). After breakfast we went to the playgroup the mothers group have started going to. It was nice for something different and the group wasn’t too big. Sofia crawls quickly up to strange kids and tries to push herself up by grabbing onto them or tries to grab their faces. Everything is a prop to get up… The group is from 9-11am so Sofia was pretty tired the last couple of hours. She fell asleep getting out of the car park when we headed home! Instead of driving around like yesterday I decided to go home, put her on the boob (she was due for a feed) and get her to bed… It didn’t happen. She woke up as I tried to get her out of the car and she was WIDE awake! She had only slept for 15min… Sofia refused going to sleep after boob and she was getting super-hyper… so I put her in the pram and went for a long walk.
She only fell asleep after about a 30min walk just before I passed a girlfriends house. She saw me and we agreed I should stop by on my way back. She ended up joining us for a walk home with her little boy (almost 6 months). It was nice to catch up – I hadn’t seen them in 3-4months. Her boy had a little play with Sofia. She stole his dummy straight away… Then when I have her one of hers she pretended she wanted to give it to him, but refused to let go or moved it away at the last moment.
When they left I tried to get Pablo some time with us. Poor thing had been alone outside all day. He was doing well some times, but he does come back to licking. And then he starts jumping me! So after several tries he went outside whilst I got ready for Sofia’s dinner. He was allowed back in when she was up in the high chair eating. Sofia was so tired she was actually whinging a bit, so I started the nighttime routine straight after dinner and had her in bed at 6pm. She only protested slightly as I left the room, but suddenly about 5minutes after she screamed and cried! I got in quick and she was in tears. When I got her up she clung to me… This is not like her, so I cradled her in my arms and she thankfully got comfortable and fell asleep within 4-5minutes. She woke up when I put her down, but was so tired she only protested a little and fell asleep properly within the first minute.

It is lovely for her to go to the play group, and also for you, Mona, to talk to other mothers and their nightmares……. -:)
