Sofia woke up just before 6am, but managed to drag it out till 6.15am. After Sofia had a snack she opened up number 1 in the Christmas Calendar! It was a Duplo piece! Thank you Mormor Jette and Morfar Erik! She loves her Duplo :). Afterwards we all went for a walk. Mike fed Sofia whilst I got ready, and then Mike got ready for work whilst Sofia and I played and read books. Sofia went down for her morning nap at 9am and slept for 2 hours!
When Sofia woke up she had a snack and then we played and read lots of books. Sofia was very cuddly today as well. I think those teeth are bothering her… She might be working on more than the two top ones as well… When I wanted to put Sofia to bed she really protested and cried a bit, but she does that sometimes now and will still be asleep within 10 minutes so it’s not really anything to go by. However, she was really struggling to get to sleep and she seemed to make herself more and more awake. I thought maybe she had filled her nappy so I went in, but nothing… so I just stroke her hair a few times and left. I think that made her mad. She didn’t seem to try much to go to bed and I know from experience that anything I try to do to help at this stage is not helping so I brought her back up. It was time to go meet a couple of friends in the park anyway (I would have cancelled if she’d fallen asleep, but she didn’t).
We were the first ones there. Straight away Sofia walks up to a bunch of 5-8 year olds on a merry-go-round. I went to get her, but the kids stopped instantly and asked me if she wanted to get in with them. I was a little hesitant because they were going quite quick, but I thought I could always tell them to stop if she got scared. I didn’t have to however because they slowed right down and were so nice to her. Very sweet. Then I got a couple of messages, one of the girls couldn’t make it as her boy was still sleeping, and the other one was saying she was on her way. When they arrived we had a good chat and Sofia was running around in the sand and enjoying herself. It was nice to chat, as I hadn’t seen Rebekah and Eva for awhile. At the end Sofia got very whinghy, but I am sure she was very tired.
When we got home it only took 2 minutes for Mike to also get home. That was nice :). Then Sofia had dinner and we put her to bed.
