Sofia woke up a bit passed 6am. She opened up number 23 on the calendar and then we all had brekky Nani Claire had prepared. Sofia had her morning nap at 9am.
When Sofia woke up Claire had gone to run some errands. Sofia had a snack and then Mike and I played with her, enjoyed lunch and played again until her afternoon nap at 2pm.
Claire got home and Mike and I took off to hand Pablo over to a nice lady who wanted an extra dog over Christmas. She has a little dog herself so hopefully they will play well together until we’re back on the 28th. Sounds like he’ll have a good Christmas with a few people around. We will miss him dearly. Such a shame he can’t fly with us :(. After we had handed him over we headed over to the mall to take care of a last few things before we leave for Melbourne in the morning. The plane leaves at 9am.
When we got back it was 6pm and time for Sofia to have dinner. Afterwards it was bath time and bedtime.
Sofia has twice got her shoes to go walking, but two days ago she got her ‘hat’ and gave it to me. Funny because she hates wearing hats, but I put it on her and watched what happened. She then walked outside in the yard. It was in the middle of the day and very hot so after about 3-4 minutes I still put up the parasol and wanted her to stick to the shady parts. Then she decided to take her hat off again. That makes me think she’s understood that I want her to wear a hat when we are spending time in the sun whilst not needing it when we’re in the shade. She’s a cleaver little girl.
