Pablo woke us up at about 2.30 as he was vomiting poor thing. Then again at 3ish, 4ish and 4.30ish.
Sofia woke up at 6.30am. We had a cuddles and then brekky. Afterwards we played for awhile. My plan was to keep her up till 10.30 and see if she slept for awhile. However, she started rubbing her eyes and yawning at 9.15, so I had her in bed by 9.30am.
Then I went back to bed, where Mike and Pablo still were sleeping. It took me a little while to fall asleep, and then Mike woke up at 10am. He left the room to let me sleep. At 11am Sofia woke up and so did I. I jumped in the shower before got got out. Then Mike was getting ready to take Sofia for a bicycle ride, so whilst they did that I got a chance to sit down and check my emails etc. when they got back we played with Sofia. She’s now able to crawl onto the sofa and run back and forth ontop of it. Making me feel a bit worried for her. Sofia was about to blow up with unspent energy so she was up and down the sofa, and outdoors up and down the slide. Then it was time for her afternoon nap and I was curious if she’d refuse again but she seemed pretty tired (probably from the last two days…).
Once she had been in bed for a few minutes Mike and I left to get some shopping done.
When we got back Nani Claire told us that Sofia had taken awhile to fall asleep. She’d not cried, but she’d been squealing and taking to her teddy’s (and throwing them around) before going to sleep.
Sofia had just got up when we got back so we put all the shopping away, whilst she had a snack. Afterwards we all went to new territory for a walk. Sofia needs a bit of persuasion, but then she’s off walking again – sometimes running. She went the same way as us for at least half the time this time – so it’s progress he he.
When we got home (a bit late as it was 6pm already), I just gave her a jar with premade dinner (organic baby food). Then some dessert and fruit. Afterwards it was a quick play in the bath before bedtime. She was in bed a little past 7pm and asleep by 7.30pm.
