Sofia woke up at 11am and 7.15am… Found out last min that one of the girls from mothers group wanted to meet up. The rest cancelled. So… in a hurry I ended up getting ready at 9am, and we got walking at 9.30… Sofia actually fell asleep about 30min in and stayed asleep for a bit more than an hour. I was so happy she had a good sleep although she did not wake up the happiest she quickly excepted and by the time we got back to the park she was good again. We breastfed and gave solids and the little ones got to have a bit of a play.
When we got back it was almost 1.30. She seemed tired after a bit of a play in the mat so I put her to bed. She only slept for 30min so maybe she should have been awake for longer?
We had playtime and then it was late enough to see if the grandparents wanted to FaceTime. We ‘talked’ to ‘morfor’ and ‘morfar’ and that was very nice. Sofia talks’ to them – it’s so cute. She all of a sudden started crying when I wanted to check her gums, and she wouldn’t stop. I took her to bed (wanted to see if she could squeeze in a 20min nap as it’s too long for her to stay awake till 7pm), but she flat out refused. So… I brought her back up.
We played for a few minutes, then I got dinner ready. After Sofia ate I started the bedtime routine and had her in sleeping in bed by 6pm. When Mike got home we ordered take away, and as soon as he was out the door Sofia woke up crying and didn’t resettle. I went in and 40min later she was sleeping… Hopefully she will have a good night with no more wake ups – at least not until 3am please Sofia xxx
Then Sofia woke up crying at 10pm. She was really upset so I nursed her and she fell asleep, but of course as I put her to bed she woke up. I tried calming her in bed, but that didn’t work so I rocked her to sleep in my arms and waited till she was properly asleep before I tried the bed transfer again. I’m exhausted :(.
