Sofia was crying again at 4.45am so I picked her up and told her she could come sleep in our bed, but that if she didn’t sleep I would put her straight back into her own bed. It worked! She laid down and fell asleep. She kept whinging in her sleep poor girl – another 5-6 times like she was either having nightmares or teeth hurting. I stroke her tummy and made shhhhhh noises and that seemed to help. Then Mike had to get up – alarm and everything going off, but Sofia kept sleeping. As we were both admiring her as she was so cute sleeping, she opens her eyes, puts her hand up and says ‘one more’ before closing her eyes again and falling asleep. So funny. Then Mike left and I took over his place in bed as I had none left on my side. Sofia then slept till 7am! Even I got about an hour then – great!
We got up and had brekky. We were on our way out to take the dog for a walk when I got an email saying Sofia’s bed would be delivered today. Yay! So poor Pablo, I decided to stay at home as I had no idea when they’d be here.
Sofia and I played and Pablo got more and more frustrated. We watched a little bit of Frozen. We had an early lunch and Sofia had quite a bit. She was getting very tired, but she had a tantrum when it was time for her nap.
Sofia woke up about 1.45 hours later. She’d just got up when Nani came over. She brought some clothes for Sofia (thank you). Then she took Pablo for a walk whilst I gave Sofia a snack and played with her. Whilst they were gone Sofia’s bed was delivered. When Nani got back she played with Sofia whilst I put the bed together. I still had a bit left when Kaylene and Andrew came over for a play date. Nani left and I finished the bed quickly. Afterwards Kaylene and I played with the kids before they left again.
Mike got home and did some more work whilst Sofia had dinner. Afterwards Nani came over to babysit. Sofia had a bath and then Mike and I put her to bed.
Afterwards Mike and I went out for dinner. Just as we got back Sofia woke up crying so I went in and we cuddled for awhile. I also gave her pain relief as she had her whole hand in her mouth as I came in. She didn’t protest when I put her back into bed.
Sofia has started ‘talking’ now. It really sounds like she’s talking, but then it’s only a word here or there I can understand. She’s learning so many new words day by day now.
