Sofia woke up at 5.30, but thankfully fell back asleep and woke up again at 6am. When I got to Sofia’s bedroom and got her out of bed Nani Claire got up as well and Sofia squealed when she saw her. Sofia’s arms and legs were going… so funny to watch. Sofia had a snack and opened number 17 on the calendar. Nani Claire made brekky for everyone whilst Mike and I took turns getting ready. Afterwards Nani Claire and Mike left for Maleny and Sofia, Pablo and I played until Sofia’s morning nap at 9am. Sofia slept for about an hour.
When Sofia woke up she had a snack and then we played and read lots of books before lunch. Afterwards I tried to get some work done in my computer. It didn’t work well today so I ended up reading more books, cuddling and playing. Sofia had her afternoon nap at 1.30 and slept for 2 hours!!!
When Sofia woke up she had a snack. As I was cuddling Pablo I realised he has a pretty big lump near his ear. He had scratched it so there was a scab on it – so it must be itchy. It also must have come up it just a couple of days because I had not seen it before :(. It scared me so I called the vet and got an appointment at 4.20pm. Nani Claire came home just before that and took care of Sofia whilst I took Pablo to the vet. She said it was definitely a tumour. She thought it looked benign, but she can’t know for sure until it’s gone so he’s scheduled for surgery on Friday. Poor puppy. I took him for a quick walk after the biopsy. When we got home it was time to feed Sofia dinner and then bath time and bed time. Sofia was soooo full of energy that she could not be still as we cuddled her goodnight. I ended up sitting with her on me for a little while until I could feel her being able to relax. However, then she started wanting a conversation so I put her back to bed and she cried as I left. It only lasted for about a minute though and then she was trying to sleep.
Here Sofia is eating frozen yoghurt for the first time (home made):
