Sofia woke me up just before 6am, but I decided not to go in yet in case she could get a bit more sleep. She didn’t and I went in 15minutes later. Because it was still early we ended up cuddling in our bed with Mike and Pablo. Nani Claire made brekky for us. Mike took Pablo for a walk. Afterwards Mike got ready for work and Nani Claire came with Sofia and I to Gymbaroo. Sofia was pretty tired before we even got there. We had brought a koala and another girl took it, so she took hers. Then they both wanted both of them. So funny as Sofia doesn’t even like the koala. Sofia kept trying to get two of all items that were given out (one to each kid). Sofia kept running off, and at one point running away from the fun and sitting down to play with a toy quietly in the corner…. so I let her… She probably needed some quiet. She sat for 5minutes maybe, and I gave her a drink etc. Afterwards she was ok to come back and then it was time to say goodbye and pack up. Sofia had more to drink and a snack pack. Then she had more snacks in the car on the way home. Nani Claire kept her entertained. When we got home it was straight to bed. Just before she filled her nappy though, and I was soooo happy (ha ha ha) because it meant she’d probably sleep for a bit longer… She was in bed by 11 and fell asleep straight after. She slept for 2 hours! Yes! It worked! 🙂
When Sofia woke up we had a late lunch and played for a little while before I took her shopping at K-mart. I found a beautiful blue dress, and then she found an outfit. Next I found a t-shirt with little Pablo’s on, so of course I had to get that for her as well :). It’s quite challenging to shop with a little girl that does not care where you are, and that continually runs in the opposite direction. She also picks up things along the way ha ha. It’s cute when she runs though as she looks back as to say; come get me. And when you do she squeals with joy. We also got a round duck that has a hysterical but infectious laugh whilst it vibrates. Sofia was ecstatic! She could not stop laughing and squealing – so of course I had to get it! I also got her a couple more books. Afterwards we went home and I got dinner ready. Nani Claire had already cooked vegetables so it was fairly easy and quick. After dinner Nani Claire did the night time routine and I was just there. I sang and put her to bed however. Sofia was fine with all of it and didn’t protest more than a couple of seconds when I put her down. Maybe she understood when I explained that Nani Claire would be putting her to bed? Who knows…

She really had her own agenda when she was at Gymbaroo, but who cares, she amused and enjoyed herself in her own way……-:)
