Sofia woke up 5.45am after rolling around and slumbering from 5am. I went in and stood there with her, calming and touching her. Then two minutes before 6am I left the room and went back in at 6am with a big smile and a cheerful ‘good morning’. Then Sofia had a snack whilst Mike took Pablo for a walk. Sofia played with her new toys and then it was time for breakfast. I put her to bed at 8.30 as she’d been tired for awhile.
I had to wake her up at 9.40 so that we could get to music session on time. On the way there this old man in a car came out of a building (wasn’t a road) and drove straight out in front of me and stopped – THEN saw me! I had to slam on the brakes :(. Not a good feeling. But we got there only a minute or two too late. There was a few more kids this time and Sofia loved it. She just gets straight into it :). The other kids are a bit older and I do think she’d love it more if she got a bit more. Right now she just lives for when the instruments come out and don’t get a lot of the songs and play with scarves. She’s still very interested in everything that’s going on however – and especially a 21month old girl that she was absolutely fascinated by. When we got back Sofia and played for a bit, had lunch and then played for a bit more before her afternoon nap at 1pm. Sofia slept for only 20minutes before she started rolling around, then she seemed to put herself back to sleep… but then kept snoozing until almost 2.30. She was still in bed but awake, as she had been for the last few minutes, so I went in.
Sofia was very whingy and I couldn’t quite tell why. I gave her a snack and took her to chipmunks to meet up with Emma and Oliver from mothers group. There were only a few other people there apart from us. We went on the big slide a few times – which Sofia loved :). Sofia also climbed up quite a steep incline, which I thought was very impressive. We also played in the little ‘pool’ with lots of plastic balls etc. Unfortunately it closed at 4 so we only got a little less than an hour. Then we went home and played for a bit before dinner. I started the nighttime routine and Mike got home. We both walked around with Sofia before bath time. She was in bed by 6.45.
