Sofia woke up just before 6am. First day in awhile she didn’t cry, tried to sleep more but was awake… so I got her. We had a massive family cuddle in our bed before I made brekky. Mike took Pablo for a walk, got ready for work, looked after Sofia whilst I had a shower and then left for work.
Sofia and I read books and played. Then we had an early lunch before we went to music session. It had been awhile and she was actually quite shy the first minute, but then loosened up. We had fun. When we got back she was super tired. She had a small quick snack and a drink and went straight to bed. Sofia actually slept for almost 1.5 hours today. So good to see.
When Sofia woke up we played and read books for a bit before we went shopping. I got her a quad bike. It’s electric. So cool! Sofia watched a bit of Frozen until I had put the quad together. Sofia was very keen to try and she seemed to love it when I was steering, but I think I might have wrecked it for her a bit with wanting to take s video too early. She got a bit scared. I think she’ll try again tomorrow though :).
Then I heated up leftovers and I heard Sofia laugh in a strange way so I looked into the lounge and there Pablo had her up agains the sofa back and was humping her! I yelled out, dragged him off her and threw him outside. I made sure Sofia was ok. I’m glad at least she doesn’t understand what it means and thought it was funny. I explained to her that Pablo is not allowed to jump on her.
Then Sofia and I had dinner. Sofia was so tired so I was going to put her straight to bed. Instead Sofia wanted to go outside. I thought it was to look at the stars – and we did… but then she started running down the street. We ended up going for a bit of a walk (she was running and stopping, running and stopping and walking backwards). Then we ran into our neighbours from nr. 14. It was a woman with 2 daughters (5 and almost 10) and their dog. Sofia squealed as she saw them and ran towards them. They laughed and the dog was very nice. Sofia got to pet him but she’d gotten too shy up close. We had a short chat – they were very nice and had moved in in January – so also new to this street :). We continued our walk for a little bit, but then I insisted we turn around. She refused of course so I had to carry her uphill back home. How did I know he he…
When we got home I drew a bath and then put Sofia to bed. Sofia was asleep by 6.30pm. Then and only then was Pablo allowed back inside. Mike got home.
Sofia has started for the first time saying no and yes properly… :). That makes things a lot easier..
