Music and a visit from Linn

Sofia woke up at 5am today. I think she fell back asleep, but I could hear her make occasional noises. When she woke up properly at 6am I went and got her. She had a snack and then a play whilst Mike and Pablo went for a walk. When they got back we all had breakfast together. Sofia was so tired already then, but I dragged it out a bit longer and she was asleep by 8.30am.

She slept till 9.45am when I woke her up to go to music session. It was only a small group this time, with two other kids. She has a lot of fun there though, although it’s hard for her to follow the rules and put things away after they have been used. She could keep playing musical instruments all day. When we got back it was time for lunch and then we played. That is… Sofia played so well by herself today and she seemed to not really want my interference most of the time. She walks everywhere now. Twice she came up to me with a book and we read together. Very cute. Then it was time for her afternoon nap.

When Sofia woke up it was almost 3pm. We were sitting on the playroom mat and eating a snack when Linn came for a visit. She brought a bread loaf stick, so we had that with butter and cheese. Sofia had just had a snack, but that didn’t stop her having lots of mine ha ha. She’s so funny. I cannot eat anything anymore without her wanting some. Linn has only got about 5 weeks left of her pregnancy. Sofia was walking/ running around the entire time Linn was here. On her walker and by herself. She is so good at getting up by herself now, and she also manages to keep her balance when stepping onto a map etc. When Linn left Sofia and I read a book and had a little cuddle before tidying up the toys before dinner. Sofia was not helping out tonight – she kept pulling things back out and had a mini tantrum when I had to carry her away… After dinner it was time for her bath and daddy came home, so she got to play with daddy for a little bit as well. She cried for a few seconds when we put her to bed, and it took her awhile to go to sleep. I hope she has a good night.
