Sofia woke up crying at about 1.30am. I ran in and got her. She felt warm again, so I brought her into our bed to keep an eye in her. She was so tired I fell asleep straight away, and then all of a sudden u wake up as my little girl crawls out of bed. So I grabbed her and put her back into her own bed. She only protested a little.
Sofia woke up at about 6.45am. I got her and we had brekky together. Mike took over so I could have a shower and then the moving guys where here! Everything after that happened quickly. I loaded up my car with a couple of things, Sofia and the dog and went to the new house whilst the others loaded the truck. The orders were to stay at the new house and stay out of the way. When we got there I started putting some things away in the kitchen. It was a slow process as Sofia wasn’t feeling well and wanted to sit on my lap and cuddle every 10min. Poor girl is feeling warm. I offered drinks often and tried to cool her down using a cold cloth (which she hated). She would not sit down for a meal and did not have much to eat, but she’d snack on different new things I kept offering. Plus she would have some cheese :).
The guys arrived and was offloading. At 11am, whilst they went back for round 2 I had to try and put her to bed. A few things were missing and it ended up being a bit back and forth until she was finally quiet. I hoped she was sleeping, but it only lasted about an hour :(. She woke up whilst the guys were putting the last of the furniture in. Then I got her back up. I had a swim in the pool and then Mike did. Afterwards Mike and I took Sofia to Bunnings. It was a bad idea. She was cranky and tired and so were we, so we went home after one thing. When we got back Mike sat with Sofia whilst I went to the old house for another run. I got back about 5.30pm and Sofia really should have been in bed at 6pm… I got a few things out for her room, tried to giver her dinner (she only had a bit here and there, but at least she drank), then gave her a massage and then Mike and I put her to bed by about 6.45pm…
She whinged a couple of times around 8pm but I’ve got no visual atm as we’re not on wireless and she wasn’t crying so I waited and there was no more cries.
