Sofia was whinging a bit in her sleep again and when she was awake and seeming to have difficulties falling asleep again at 2 am I went in.
I had a terrible night sleep. Every time Mike moved I woke up, plus the dog snores and coughs like a dying lifetime smoking old man.
Sofia then woke again at 6.30am, so she did well :). I read all her books for her again whilst Mike took Pablo for a walk. When he got back I had the chance for a quick shower – yay! Then he was off to work and I fed her solids, put the dog out and got us ready for mothers group. I left to be there earlier so I could walk with her in the pram and hopefully get her to sleep since it starts at her nap time.
One of the girls got there at the same time and we ended up going for a walk together. She only fell asleep on the last 15-20min and woke up pretty much as soon as we stopped and she heard the other mothers and babies.
We still stayed for awhile even if she didn’t go back to sleep… We all talked and played for a bit before I fed her. I had brought solids for the first time. Great brand, pure organic with brown rice, mango, yoghurt and some rice flour and lemon juice – that’s all! I was very impressed, but Sofia didn’t eat much – think she was just over tired. Everyone packed up and so did we.
When we got home it took her awhile to fall asleep, but then she slept for 2 hours :).
When Sofia woke up we played and Pablo was allowed into the playroom. All was going really well and I was so proud of him – until he could see I had my hands full and took the opportunity to slobber over one of her toys.
I prepared steamed pumpkin in strips and rolled them in oat ‘meal’. That got soooooo messy quick! Sofia was wearing it pretty much, but I think she got some in her mouth ha ha ha. She also got melon to suck on. Then it was time for bed. Sofia had been awake for 3.5 hours then and it took her awhile to fall asleep, but hopefully she’ll have a good night.
