Sofia slept through again (6am), so once again we went for a family walk on the beach. It’s very nice this early in the morning 🙂
After we got back and Sofia had a nap (1.5 hours!) we were off to mothers group in the park by the beach (our usual spot). I was being very careful to keep her in the shade of the tree (or me), and it was especially nice to hang out since I had missed the last two times, so we kind of forgot about time. Sofia is also difficult to get to sleep when we are out, so when she finally did I stayed behind with one of the girls… It was only a 15 minute nap, but it’s better than nothing. We drive home and I put her straight to bed after a good feed.
When I woke her up after her nap I got a nasty surprise… Sofia is very sunburned on her cheeks and nose! Her face was beaming red… :(. I feel horrible. It feels like child abuse :(. Just because I had read not to put sunscreen on until 6 months old… She is 5.5 months now, so next time we go out she will have sunscreen on her! The only thing that makes me feel better is that she seemed to now be affected by it at all. Hopefully it stays that way, and does not get worse…

Pass på og smør henne hele tiden med aloe gjerne direkte fra planten. Og ha henne i dyp skygge. Stakkars liten.
