Sofia woke up again at 5am. Just the way she cried made me convinced she was in pain. I have her some pain relief and boob before stroking her back until she was properly asleep. She stayed asleep until 7.45! I probably should have woken her up at 7am, but I was also enjoying my sleep.
When she woke up we had breakfast and played for a bit. Then we took Pablo for a walk and threw the ball with him a few times. It’s not the most fun though as he never really brings the ball back… On the way back we saw the neighbour carrying a limp dog into the boot of his car. He was crying and there were a few more people. I hate these things, my throat closed up immediately and I was struggling not to cry too. I think Pablo knew what had happened. He was acting funny (head down) and didn’t want to move forward.
It had gotten pretty late by the time we got back (just before 11am), so I put Sofia to bed. She was crying, but only for a little while, so I let her be – thinking she will find her sleep. 30minutes later she was still not crying, but talking and standing up… so I went in – thinking I could help. I shouldn’t have done that. At 12.30 she was finally asleep!
Sofia woke up at 1.45! She was definitely in pain, so I just put her on the boob and she fell asleep again instantly. However she seemed to go in and out of the dream state and only slept for another 30minutes.
When Sofia woke up she had a very late lunch and then we met up with Maja and Tian (and bump). She only has 2.5 months left of the pregnancy. Time flies! It was so nice to see them both again. Sofia scared Tian a bit by touching his face (and not very nicely!) and grabbing him to try and climb him to push herself up. She also wanted none of her own toys in the beginning – just Tian’s. Until I brought my hair brush out…
When we got back it was dinner time. Then Mike got back when we had a play after dinner. Then we started the nighttime routine.
Sofia had only had that one little sleep all day. When we put her to bed she cried only for a few seconds before falling asleep. We thought this might be the night we’re everything’s back to normal….
At 9pm however Sofia wakes up crying. Mike goes in and gets her back to sleep twice. First time she slept for 15min or so and the second time only about 5min. When I walked in I checked her nappy and tried to get her back to sleep, but she wouldn’t have it. She started talking, crawling and standing up… So after an hour (even boob didn’t work) I decided to try the cry out method again. It worked, but it took awhile.

Seems so much tiring work. We at least know that the little princess is growing and learns to talk so that Mum understands what the matter is when she does not fall asleep…..-:)
