Sofia woke up crying at 1.30am so I went in. Twice I tried to put her back down and leave, but she was crying so… I ended up going into the guest bedroom, putting the mattress on the floor and then grabbing Sofia and trying to get her to fall asleep with me there. That did not happen. She tried a few times, but mostly just talking herself awake. No more crying however, so after 1,5 hours of her not sleeping I brought her back into her own bed. She cried when I left, but got over it pretty quickly and went to sleep.
Sofia woke up crying again at 5.50am… Mike went and got her. I tried to get her to relax and maybe get a bit more sleep after her feed, but she was getting frantic to go play even though I could see she was tired. Mike took care of her whilst I had a shower and then he took the dog for a walk before getting ready for work. Sofia had breakfast. When Mike left for work Sofia and I left to go grocery shopping. When we got back I put her to bed (9am).
Sofia only slept for 30minutes. I tried to get her to sleep a bit longer, but she refused. So it was back up… We played for a bit before Sofia vomited a bit on me and the carpet. She has vomited a little the last few days. I am getting a bit worried, but at the same time it seems to happen after she eats – and she shoves her hands and fingers so far into her mouth I think she’s causing it… Poor little girly. We played a bit more as it didn’t seem to effect her mood at all. She was a lot more still sitting today though – probably very tired. Sofia was getting very tired again around 1pm so I put her to bed – it must have accumulated tiredness however as she was crying a bit before falling asleep and she only slept for 20minutes. This time I grabbed her, took her into our bed and breastfed her. She fell asleep and when I put her down next to me she rolled into me and snuggled up close. She kept sleeping and I was able to snooze for a few moments as well. Sofia woke up 30minutes later in a very good mood.
It was 3.30 so after giving her a snack and giving Pablo a snack I took her to the nearby playground. She was just sitting in the bark again until I suggested we’d go for a walk. All if a sudden that’s all she wanted. When we got back I got dinner ready and we were walking around the living room but mostly backyard. Sofia now wants to step up into everything she can. So funny… She doesn’t want to walk without support yet, but she climbs into everything and she wants to step onto everything. Then Sofia had dinner and I started the nighttime routine. Whilst Sofia was in the bath Mike got home so he got to say goodnight today as well :). Sofia went to sleep without any fuss.
