Sofia woke up at 5.45am but close enough to 6am, so it would just be a waste of time putting her down to sleep again. I’m still feeling worn out…
Every time I breastfeed her now she is kicking/ crawling on me, pinching and punching me in the face and/or chest. She pulls of the boob every 2 seconds a lot of the time and some times she hardly eats at all. She cries every time I put her down on the changing table, and every time I want to take clothes and nappy on or off. The legs go way up in the air so it’s next to impossible to get the nappy on properly. In between this she seems to be in a good mood, which just makes her seem bi-polar. However, this all fits with ‘The Wonder Weeks’ perfectly… so there must be something to this book. According to the book there is 17 days left of this, with the last 7 days being the worst.
On top of everything her gums have been quite painful today. I had to rock her to sleep poor thing. Not sure why I picked today to do it, but it’s the first time in awhile I didn’t breastfed her to sleep when over-tired. She didn’t sleep very well so the next nap I gave her some baby neurofen which seemed to do wonders. She slept 1.5 hours and looked a lot more rested.
Sofia had carrot for the first time today. She was not the biggest fan, but did eat half of it.

Stakkars lille pike, du får bare være tålmodig – når du nå vet det går over 🙂

This is so funny, I see Sofia’s feet and hands doing gymnastics the while you try to give her food, I really burst into a fit of laughter, it is soooo much fun to read it…… good on her to eat carrots, I would spit it out, that’s one thing I never liked, except later as a child, but raw from the garden. NO COOKED ONES, horrible……-:)
