Sofia woke up once at 11ish and I fed her because she didn’t eat much for dinner yesterday. She woke up again at 4.30am and I ended up feeding her again before Mike put her back into bed – the second time it worked. Then next time she woke up was at 8.30am.
Sofia had breakfast and played with Natasha and Dominic. Then the rest of us had breakfast. Sofia seemed quite tired quickly so after 2.5 hours I took her upstairs for her morning nap.
When Sofia woke up she had lunch and then we left for ‘the house of cheese’. The car ride there really made me ill because of the super windy roads and the rain. The cheeses were really nice and they had a beautiful pastry pear dessert. All very yummy! Even Sofia tried a few different cheeses, and she kept asking for more. Thank you for the treat Alex and Claude 🙂
On the way back we took a different way. Sofia rubbed noses with her toy bird after Claude had rubbed noses with her lots of times – so cute :). Sofia fell asleep in the car the last 15min (4.30pm!). Luckily the car seat (maxi cosy) is super comfy and very easy, so Mike could get the car seat out and up in the bedroom. She slept for about an hour.
When Sofia woke up I fed her dinner and she had some crackers etc whilst the rest of us had dinner. Afterwards she had a bit of a play, crawl, standing, assisted walking sessions… The she had a bath and was put to bed. It took her a little while because she seemed wired from all the play and attention. She woke up as I put her down, but I managed to hide and she put herself to sleep with no fuss.
The last couple of days Sofia has started sounding like she is saying something. She says it with conviction too. I wish I understood. She is saying ‘nei’ and ‘ja’ (yes and no), and hallo… But I don’t think she really understands what she is saying.
