Sofia woke me up with a scream at about 6.45am. I think she was going where are you??? I got in there, got Mike’s present, gave Sofia the ‘Happy birthday’ balloon and we went into the bedroom singing Happy birthday!
Afterwards Mike took Pablo for a walk and Sofia and I had brekky. Then Mike went to work and Sofia and I played before heading off to music session at 10am. They were closed however, so I guess they’re not back on until next week. Sofia and I went to k-mart instead. I thought we would find bigger sleeping bags, but we didn’t. Sofia was really feeling this onesie though so I ended up getting it. Then when I got home I all of a sudden felt the inside of it. Doesn’t feel very breathable – I will have to take it back I think.
When we got home it was almost 11am, so I had to quickly make Sofia en early lunch. She was running around and showing well she was over tired. She wasn’t listening to me about not having her feet on the table, but I think she wasn’t much hungry. She was in bed and asleep by 11.40am.
Sofia woke up at about 1.20pm which is not great, but she couldn’t sleep any more. She played a bit outside, but kept shovelling sand from the ‘sandpit’ onto our tiles etc so I warned her she’d be playing inside if she kept going. She looked at me and did it again so I had to follow through and get her inside. She wasn’t happy, but it didn’t last. Sofia had a snack and we played for a bit before I had to start cooking. Sofia was fine playing by herself for awhile but then she’d had it! I tried putting her on my back. It worked will for 10min and then she randomly started screaming in my ear and banging on my head so I let her back down. I barely made getting the dish done in time. Then it was time for bath.
This time I put Sofia on the potty when I got her nappy off. Nothing… Then after her bath, whilst she was still in it but I had drained it, she peed and I had to wash her down again.
Afterwards she was crazy trying to dry her off and get the nappy on. We were almost fighting – I was getting sweaty… and then she bit my shoulder! I yelled and told her it was not ok whilst she was laughing. I had to maintain my strict face until she knew I was serious, but then she started crying. Then she was crying because she realised she was actually going to bed… Not a god end of the day for any of us.
Sofia has been using the step stool that much today I had to put it on top of the bench when it’s not necessary to wash her hands he he.

Every time Sofia is putting her feet on the table and I see it, I nearly crack up as she looks at her Mumi and then me sometimes and just has that sparkle in her eyes….. you can see, she is trying her power out, who is stronger, you Mumi or me??? It is really funny to watch……-:)
