Sofia woke up around 6am, we were hoping she’d snooze a bit more but she didn’t and Mike got her about 15min later. He then made Sofia brekky before taking her and Pablo for a walk to the beach. I got to sleep in, even though I couldn’t for long I still got a very nice rest. Thank you hunny!!! 🙂
I got some housework before they got back. I swear she’d grown over night again. Even her face looked older. After we played for a bit Sofia refused to put on a new nappy so she got to run around naked, then Mike wanted to fix up the new plants near the pool so we came with. Sofia got a bit too daring after awhile. It started with her dangling her feet in the pool to going in with entirely with me holding her by the arms at the edge of the pool. I realised I needed to get in with her. Sofia was great, but it’s getting dangerous as I get the impression she’s starting to think she can swim… She also wants to get in and out of the pool on her own, which is not a good thing. Scary. It was a bit cold so after awhile she had enough and I brought her into the shower with me. Mike took over when I got out so Sofia could have a bit more time – she really loves the shower. The tiles get pretty slippery though and before we knew it she slipped and fell on her bum before her neck/ back of head banged down on the tiles. It looked pretty bad and she really cried poor thing :(. After a couple of minutes she calmed down however, and seemed to start getting better. Afterwards we read books and played before I made an early lunch and put her to bed. I had kept an eye on her and she seemed fine…
Sofia only slept for 2 hours again, and she still seemed a bit tired. But that seems to have become the new routine – maybe it’s from vaccination…? When Sofia woke up Mike had gone to run sin errands. Sofia and I played and read books. I was being stupid and tickled her on the couch, close to the midsection and she banged the side of her head on it. New tears :(. This wasn’t as bad, but still made me feel awful. Afterwards she went up and down the slide outside. Suddenly she stopped and sat down on the potty. She got back up pretty quick and walked away. All of a sudden I thought what if… so I checked… and her nappy was full! Maybe she’s starting to realise at least after she’s done something? Then we had a snack.
When Mike got back we took Sofia to a great playground. She was running around, going on the different slides and going on the swing. She got out if the swing twice and both times got very upset when she wanted to get back onto the swing. It was ok with mentioning the slides however. Sofia got very upset when we had to leave poor girl. I think she really loved having daddy there as well. She cried, but she thankfully got over it fairly quickly.
When we got home I made dinner and Mike cuddled with Sofia. Afterwards it was time for Sofia’s bath and then bedtime. Poor girl, she was soooo tired!

New head? Well I like the other one best…….
