Sofia woke up at 5am so I grabbed her and tried to get her to fall asleep with me in the guestroom. I put her on the boob, but not even that helped :(. I was still not engaging her until 6am. It was a long hour of Sofia crawling on me and smacking me in the face – stepping on me etc… At 6am I said good morning and Sofia has a snack, we read a book and played. When Mike got up at 7am he took Pablo and Sofia for a quick walk so I could have a shower. When they got back we had breakfast and then Sofia was so tired I put her to bed and she was asleep at 8am.
Sofia slept till 9.15, which was good. I went to Bunnings so I could buy a blockout roll for her room. Hopefully that will end her 5 o’clock early awakenings. By time we got back it was time for lunch and a bit of a play. Sofia started getting tired before it had been 3 hours. I decided to get in the car way early and drive to Gymbaroo (like a baby exercise class she’s booked in for until 4de Dec) instead of having her sleep her and having to wake her up. It took her awhile to fall asleep and I drove around for 15minutes after we had arrived, but then I parked and hoped she’d keep sleeping. She woke up a few minutes later… So we checked out the gym. Another girl from mothers group goes there (Rebekah), and we were the only ones that showed today. It was a lot of fun. Sofia squealed when she saw the room. It was set up like an obstacle course, to crawl under, over, through etc. Also different textures, play with sound, singing, words etc. Very interesting. However, Sofia has now figured out she can have a different opinion than me and she seems to want to test that out. At Buntings it was exhausting because she didn’t want to be there – the only thing that seemed to work was my car keys… At Gymbaroo she didn’t want to do what we were doing – she wanted to crawl and move. At the end the tutor said that it was ok to let them crawl around and to not restrict them in any way when we were sitting in the circle. I wished she’d told me that sooner ha ha. Sofia was running around everywhere – and so was I. Fun but also pretty exhausting – then a 30min drive home (traffic). When we got home we played until dinner, and Pablo was a good boy laying in the couch in the same room (!). After dinner it was time for the nighttime routine. At bath time Sofia peed just as I took the nappy off – it went all over my hand and the floor. She’s poo’d in the bath a few times, but this is the first time she’s peed. She went to bed without any fuss or issues.

så mye morsomt det er for små 🙂 Klart hun synes det er morsomt å få lov å bevege seg fritt. Mye bedre for mor også <,9

Sofia looks a WINNER. She has such a lovely smile, sort of hiding in her eyes what she knows…. -:)
