Sofia woke up again during the very early morning. After being a monster in bed – kicking and rolling and babbling and just making herself more and more awake I tried letting her cry just for a little bit in the cot to see if she’s fall back asleep. She did, but woke up again crying so I picked her up and put her into bed with us for a second time. After cuddling for a bit she actually fell asleep and when she woke up whinging she was easy to get back to sleep. She slept until almost 7am (8am Melbourne time). I got up with her and Sofia had brekky. Then we played for awhile. She was laughing and having a good time. It was nice to see. She wore my dress (she brought it to me), I ‘chased her’ and hid behind the walls saying ‘boo’. She loves getting ‘scared’. So funny. Mike woke up and then we all went out for brekky. It was very nice. On the way back Sofia was walking and decided to turn and walk back again. All of a sudden two Japanese girls grabbed her in each hand and started walking with her. I got a bit worried they would take off with her, but they were very sweet. Then they asked to get their picture taken with her! He he. So strange, but both Mike and I looked at each other and thought why not, so we said yes. Back home at the hotel we put Sofia down for her morning nap at 11ish.
When Sofia woke up we went out shopping for a couple of things. First we stopped at a place to eat: Pancake Parlour. So of course we all had to try the pancakes. Sofia got one with icecream and chocolate fudge that she seemed to enjoy :). Afterwards I got a bikini so we could use the pool at the hotel. When we got back Mike was getting late to meet up with Dave – they were going out for dinner. Mike ordered room service dinner for Sofia and I before he left. After dinner I put Sofia to bed.
