Sofia woke up at 2am for a feed but then went back to sleep pretty quickly. Then she woke up at 6.30am again and Mike and I got up. She was a bit extra cuddly and that lasted for awhile. Lots of new things and other people around her – I suppose she hasn’t got all her mummy cuddles in for the last few days. So we cuddled extra today. We all played for a bit and had breakfast when my parents got up.
After breakfast Sofia had her morning nap, and half way through Arjan came over. Mike and Arjan played for a bit, and I joined for 10min before Sofia got up.
We all then went to Ekeberg at a little nice place that has farm animals for kids to pat and look at. Pigs, sheep, ponies, peacocks, goats, cows… All sooo cute! Sofia seemed to enjoy it – lots to look at and take in – and she did pat a few different animals.
Sofia fell asleep in the car back (15min drive) but woke up when she was carried home. Thankfully we managed to get her back to sleep for another 1.5hours.
When she woke up we all had dinner, and Sofia got to crawl around. She actually crawled today! Not many steps, but a few – twice!
Then it was time for Sofia’s nighttime routine. After she fell asleep I played badminton with Arjan for an hour. That was fun :). I’m glad I get to spend some time with him. Hard to be a good aunt so far away…
Then Arjan went home and Mike, Jette and I saw a movie. It’s now 11pm and I am going to sleep. Hoping Sofia will have a good night sleep. She does seem to be thrashing about in her sleep quite a bit.
