Sofia woke up around 6am, but was taking her time waking up properly thank goodness and I dragged it out till 6.15 before I got her. I had ‘Mormor Jette’ with me on FaceTime when I got her. Sofia (and I) thought it was a nice surprise and she didn’t mind at all showing her mormor all her new skills :). Then I made brekky as Mike got up and said hi as well. We all said goodbye to mormor before eating brekky.
Mike left for work and Sofia and I cuddled and watched something until it was time to go to our music session. Today was the last day before Easter break and a new semester. Sofia is slowly realising that the others are following what the teacher is saying/ showing, but she still has a long way to go. Today was a long session as she just ran wild and wanted to do her own thing. She also tried to take one of Archie’s music instruments – even though she had one just the same. I guess it had the wrong colour or something. She tried 3-4 times! At least she lets up when I tell her no, but today was pretty painful…
When we got home I made us lunch. By the time Sofia was done eating and drinking it was 11.40, so she was in bed and asleep by 12pm. Unfortunately these very loud annoying birds woke her up I think and she couldn’t get back to sleep. I went in the check nappy and it was fine. I just had to get her back up. She had a little less than 1.5 hour sleep again.
After I got her back up we cuddled, read books and cuddled some more. She didn’t seem much interested in playing… Whenever I did something she followed me around and whinged and cried. I vacuumed the sofa and she was just whinging at me… As soon as I stopped so did she. She cried to be picked up. Twice she filled her nappy and twice I had to fight her and hold her down whilst she was kicking and rolling. The first time poo went a few placed and I actually had to wipe poo off her back. I was not impressed. She on the other hand found it hilarious! Not sure what to do about that.
Luckily tonight I had leftovers in the fridge from last night so I just heated that. Even that the little girl didn’t like so I was happy I didn’t have to be in the kitchen for long. Sofia had lots to eat – it was nice to see her enjoy it and she’s getting very good with the spoon. She deliberately threw her spoon on the floor – not sure why. Pablo licked her food (tongue came up on her plate!) so he got thrown outside for awhile.
After dinner it was bath time and then bedtime. As we were reading the last couple of pages of a book Mike walked in. So they got to say goodnight to each other that’s good. I hope Sofia has a good night.

Jeg var nødt til å la dere stå – ved badekaret med en leke – eller var det umulig å få skiftet. Og dere hadde ikke disse lettvinne bleiebuksene………..
