I woke up around 4am by a horrible coughing sound, but there was something else. I looked at the monitor and Sofia appeared to be sleeping, but then she coughed again and it was clear it wasn’t a normal cough so I ran in. Sofia was still asleep somehow, but woke up with me checking on her. She was very drowsy poor thing. I felt the bed and it was wet and sticky where her head had been, so I put on the soft light and I saw she had vomited quite a bit of this wet yellow and a bit sticky stuff. I had her in my arms so I just carried her into our bed and woke Mike up so I would know she was there and to watch her whilst I changed the sheets in her room. I would have liked for her to sleep next to me, but the sun was coming up and I knew Sofia would get a lot less sleep in our room so I carried her back to her own bed, stroked her hair for a little bit and left. She went back to sleep and woke up next a bit passed 6am. She seemed pretty tired still and when I was breastfeeding her she almost fell asleep when I stoke her cheek. Mike had a shower whilst Sofia and I watched a bit of ‘Sofia the first’. Then he made porridge and we all ate together. Sofia didn’t eat much. Afterwards we all played in the playroom (Pablo included) until it was time for her morning nap – it was 8.30 today as she looked very tired. Mike, Pablo and I went back to bed as well.
Sofia woke up at 10am and Mike went to get her. He gave her a snack (apparently she didn’t eat much) and played with her for 30min before I got up and had a shower. Then he had a very short lay-down. What a slow starting day ha ha. We finally managed to get ourselves to the shops to get a few things. It’s passed 12 when I realise I haven’t brought lunch, so we sit down and have some. Sofia hardly had anything to eat poor thing. Afterwards we had a quick look in a discount store, and Sofia was in heaven when she saw a little girl. She squealed and ran towards her, went straight up to her and stops right in front and stares. She also reached out and touched her hand at some point. Cute, but I am also a bit unsure what to do because she just stands there and I don’t want to freak out the little girl. Sofia is so cute though – I just love how social she is. When we got back home it was passed her nap time, so I put her to bed as quickly as I could. Sofia seemed quite happy to and slept till 3.30pm when she made a noise and turned, so I went in and got her. I didn’t want her to sleep for too long and not get proper tired for bedtime.
As soon as Mike had got some work done we all went to the park. Pablo got to play with 3 different dogs, so I think he was pretty happy. Sofia got to walk lots. Also… we met 2 little girls (7 and 4 maybe?)! Once again Sofia got very excited and rushed over there to say hi. She was ‘talking’ and being very social. It was great that they didn’t seem to mind. When we got back home I had a missed ‘facetime’ with Mormor Jette, so Sofia and I called her back whilst Mike made dinner. Mormor is having surgery on her foot tomorrow and will be wearing a cast for the next 6 months. I will be thinking of you tomorrow dear mother.
We had dinner, which Sofia hardly touched, and then it was time for the nighttime routine. Sofia fell asleep quite quickly tonight. I hope she has a better night tonight.

Sofia er SÅ søt. At hun stirrer på de hun prøver å få kontakt med er bare tegn på at hun har hodet på rette sted. Hun vurderer og ser dem an, må vite.
Stakkars lille vennen, oppkast er aldri hyggelig, men skal det opp så skal det opp for en grunn.
Gipsen sitter på i 6 uker, men det tar 6 mnd før den er ok igjen – sånn var det

She really is so cute, one thing after another now, one can see, she is getting her brain around sometimes. When she sits or stands examining a toy or a block of wood, whatever it may be, she seems fully engrossed for a while………. so lovely to watch…… -:)
