Mike left for work at 6.30am and I went for a walk with Pablo and Sofia. Pablo was doing well half of the time, the other half he kept pulling and trying to run across the road to meet other dogs etc. When I let him off the lead at the park (after a 30min brisk walk) the first thing he did was run off and roll on top of a dead bird – and pretend to be death when I told him to come.
When we got back I played with Sofia for a little while before she got tired. After her nap she had solids, and a bit of a play. After the next very short nap we went to Baby Bunting. I bought a new pram and a high chair. The pram is great! It had HEAPS of space underneath and Sofia can face me or face away from me very easily. It’s also got great cover from the sun. It was expensive, but since the high chair I wanted was actually cheap (compared to the other ones there) I thought…. hmmmm…. maybe? Thankfully Mike liked it and wasn’t tooo horrified by the price :).
When we got back Sofia was terribly tired. I thought I’d help her out by breastfeeding her to sleep, but she only slept for about 30 minutes whilst I tried to put the pram and high chair together. I almost got there, then I had to get her and continue whilst she was playing next to me in the walker. All of a sudden when I look over there are a few pools of poo underneath the little one and she is spreading it around with one of her feet! The seat is also covered in poo! It was quite the clean up job on a little lady that is not laying still even for a second. I laid her down fresh and clean on the play mat, but didn’t take long before the protests got louder and louder and she seemed very tired. I tried putting her to bed, but she wouldn’t have it. I tried feeding her, but she wasn’t happy. Then a screaming match started! Oh my goodness – nothing I did worked. It was then 5.10pm, so I got her sleeping bag off and put her in the new high chair and fed her solids. That seemed to help – she started crying when I wasn’t quick enough. But then at the end she all of a sudden cried properly again – then she wanted me to pick her up. Geez… Not much patience today – she hadn’t let me eat for awhile and my nerves were wearing thin. I was really getting grumpy and had to pull myself together. Then I remembered my mum had wanted to FaceTime and there was nothing I wanted more, so we squeezed in a few minutes. Sofia was besides herself at this stage and just could not sit still – and just whinging poor thing so we made it very quick and then it was straight to night routine.

stakars mamma. Sånne dager er grufulle – men de går heldigvis over.
Sofia ser veldig fornøyd ut i stolen da 🙂
