Sofia woke up at 6am, and after waking up a bit slow Mike got her. Sofia and I cuddled in bed whilst Mike took Pablo for a walk. Then I made brekky. Afterwards Mike went to work and Sofia and I played for a bit. Then I had to take her grocery shopping so we skipped rhyme time today. Sofia straight away started running away. I told her she had to hold me hand or I’d have to put her in the trolly. She kept running so i put her in the trolly. She cried for about 20 seconds, and then she was the best little girl in the world for the rest of the shopping. She didn’t cry, scream to get up or throw herself towards the floor. She sat in the trolly patiently, and even flirting with other customers… What a good girl :). When we got home I made her an early lunch and she was in bed by 11.20 and asleep straight after.
Sofia slept till 2pm! It had been overcast all day and cooler than usual, and because it had rained so much the windows in her room were closed (so the insane birds had less chance of waking her up). Whilst she was asleep the post guy had come and delivered a package from Mormor and Morfar to Sofia! It contained a ‘rainbow maker’. Sooo cool! I brought it in to Sofia when I woke her up. Sofia just loved it! She couldn’t get enough. She had to touch it and play with it. It took about 20minutes before I managed to get her out of bed he he. Then Nani Claire came for a visit. We talked and she played with Sofia until we left for dancing – starting at 4pm. On the way we bumped into Becky and Ella (joining us for the first time). Sofia went over to Ella and grabbed her by the hand – and then they walked hand in hand for several minutes. Soooo cute! There were a few more toddlers Sofia’s age now and they were all doing their own thing. She’s not much for following instructions, but at least she’s having fun :).
On the way home I got pulled over by the police! They asked for my licence and I gave it to them (not having any idea why I was pulled over). Then he asked me if I knew my licence was expired!? No I did not! He then told me they’d give me a fine ($174) and that I needed to get my licence renewed and that I couldn’t drive again before it was paid. Sooooo now I have to go to the department of transport to get it fixed. I was so lucky that Claire was in the back seat and could drive us home. I’m also lucky that the department of transport is in walking distance…
Claire stayed and helped with Sofia so I could get dinner in the table. We ate and then Mike got home and we put Sofia to bed together. Sofia was super tired poor girl. She was in bed and asleep by 7.30pm. Hopefully she’ll have a great night.

But Sofia had stolen the show before, she was so cute and lovely walking with a little friend hand in hand to the dancing class, and look at the little princess dress…….-:)
