Mike and I woke up 5.15am and we started packing for our Melbourne trip. Sofia woke up at 6am and I got her. She had brekky and then I continued packing. All of a sudden we were in a rush and we had to run out the door and get driving to the airport. We realised on the way that we had forgot a few things…
The plane left at 9am. We had hopes that Sofia would sleep on the plan, but after being a bit tired and cuddly she just suddenly became ‘awake’ and kept getting more and more hyper. She was continuously trying to get contact with other passengers and stewardesses, which she did quite successfully. As we landed we konked in my lap… and she slept for about 40minutes. As soon as we arrived in a taxi at the hotel she woke up. We thought there was no way we’d get her straight back to bed in a strange place so we went shopping for a few things we had forgot and then back to the hotel to get Sofia to bed. She fell asleep (we think) after 30-40minutes and slept for about 1.5 hours. I don’t know how long she’d been awake, but she suddenly really cried and a rushed in to get her. She was a bit difficult to console and she took a bit of time to get back to her normal self. She was cuddly and cried a bit for things I couldn’t understand. Afterwards we got dressed and left for European Christmas celebration at Trish and Bill’s house. It was full house and although Sofia was a bit careful in the beginning she warmed up to all the people pretty quickly. She seemed to really enjoy herself. She got a very cute dress and underpants from Nani and cutlery from Bill and Trish. Thank you soooo much! ☺. Sofia didn’t have much for dinner (but there was so much going on), but she had a good portion of the chocolate dessert. SO yummy ☺. We called a taxi and left at 11pm! Sofia was so tired poor thing.
When we got back to the hotel we had bath time and then bedtime. She went to bed without much protest. I hope she’ll have a good night.
