Sofia woke up crying at around 1.30am. It wasn’t a loud cry, but it blended into my dream and woke me up. She was standing up, but then laid back down so I tried to go back to sleep at. However she started crying again 10-15 minutes later so I went in. After a long cuddle she was still making whinging noises so I thought she might be having teeth/gum pain. I gave her pain relief and put her on me to give it time to work. After awhile I tried slowly to put her back into bed. She protested only a little and I stroke her tummy and hair before leaving. As I left however she started crying so bad. I felt terrible, but I didn’t go back in as I knew I’d be in there for half the night if I did. She cried so terribly for about 2-3 minutes but then went to sleep.
Next time she woke up it was about 7am. Mike made eggs on toast this morning. Sofia had a bit of that, and a bit of porridge. She didn’t eat much though. Afterwards I thought I’d take her out for a walk so she could move a bit. I asked which shoes she wanted and she chose none. I tried to put one of them on her but she clearly showed she didn’t want to… so, we stayed at home and played. Sofia picked up one of Pablo’s poos and showed it to me – so proudly! Thank goodness it was dried. We quickly washed hands he he. Sofia had her morning nap at 10.30.
Sofia woke up at 12.15pm. She had a snack and then I took her to Chipmunks. We were meeting up with 4 girls and their bubs at 2.30, but we were an hour early. Everyone’s bub seem to be transitioning into one sleep atm with all the issues that entitles. We had lots of fun. The bubs play side by side – recognising each other without really playing with each other.
When we got back it was 4.30pm and Pablo was an absolute shit. So… Nani watched Sofia whilst I took Pablo for a walk in the park. He was instantly in doggy heaven with dogs everywhere. One of the dogs he’s played with before and is also a bit of a hyper active dog, so the pretty much sprinted for 20minutes. Best 30minutes spent! Pablo was so out of breath. Great because I only had 30minutes to spare. When we got back Sofia had dinner that Nani had made – and she even got a bit of dessert! Then it was time for bath and bed. After that Mike got home poor thing – and ended the night with more work stuff.
