Sofia had another great night where she slept through :).
When she woke up I got her dressed and she had brekky before we all went for a walk. That means I carry her most of the way. She’s changed a bit over the last few weeks – she now seems to prefer to be carried everywhere. Pablo got to run and play for about 10min on the beach (before dogs are not allowed anymore) and then we went home. We left Pablo at home and went to Trish and Bill (at their hotel room). Nani Claire was there too. Bill made a fantastic brekky for everyone. Thank you Bill! :). Sofia was eating well too and tried pretty much everything. So great to see :). She was loving all the grown up attention. We left closer to 11.30 and Sofia was very tired. She was in bed and asleep by 12pm.
Sofia slept for a little less than 1.5 hours. When she got up she had a snack before playing in the back yard with Pablo. I kept an eye on them and helped Mike with the fence when he needed me to. Afterwards I cleaned up a bit before Mike left to drive Bill to the airport.
After Mike left Sofia and I read a lot of books and cuddled. Then she played whilst I made dinner. She was up on the bench in the beginning and watched me – that is she was more interested in what she could grab and play with or eat… so eventually I had to lift her back down. She then spent time walking and crawling between my legs whilst I tried to manoeuvre around in the kitchen. When dinner was finally finished she washed her hands without protesting (which is rare ha ha). She had a lot to eat which was nice to see.
After dinner we had a quick play and then it was time for bed. She was putting up a fight in regards to brushing her teeth (also usual) and Mike got home before I managed to get her to bed. She of course then wanted some daddy time so she got a bit of an extension… Finally we got her in the bath and she nearly emptied it with all her splashing he he. Afterwards we read a couple of books in bed and said our good nights. Once again she gave us both long nice cuddles and went to sleep. It did take her awhile to fall asleep, but she never even protested.
