I had a rough night. Poor Sofia cried/whinged in her sleep a few times and I got properly woken up at 4.30am – and then again at 5.50. Mike went in and put her back down. She wasn’t quite happy about it, but managed to drag it out till 6am – and then I went in to grab her. Whilst Mike went for a walk with Pablo, Sofia and I went to see Linn (Norwegian girl I went to school with who’s now 30weeks pregnant). She is doing well. We went for a walk and sat down at a cafe for brekky and then walked back again. Realising it was 9 whilst we were still at the cafe! Only got home at 9.40 and had her in bed sleeping by 10am. I felt bad as Sofia was really tired by then and a little cranky by then… She slept for an hour.
When Sofia got up she had a snack and then we played. It was pretty tiering … she wanted to walk, walk, walk… but only a few steps and then over the door frame, then back over the door frame etc. We also read some stories, although she doesn’t sit still for any of them. Now she is getting good at turning the pages though. She had quite a few blueberries and also a whole banana (that she ate uncut!). I think it must have put something in motion because she pooed twice. Same thing – every time now is a battle. She does not want to lay down and when she’s laying down she kicks like crazy and tries to turn onto her tummy whilst she giggles and laughs. So much fun! Both times I had to get very serious to try and get her to stop – and I had to hold her down to get the job done. Both times she started crying. Bah… Makes me feel horrible – and also exhausted :(. Then it was time for her afternoon nap. Sofia slept for about 45min.
When Sofia woke up she had a snack and then we went to the vet with Pablo. The vet said to wait with the vaccination because he has yeast infection in his ears and on his feet. Poor thing! We thought he licked his feet so much because he was bored :(. So now he needs to take pills every day for awhile – and wash his ears out every night. Also switch shampoo and conditioner – and stay away from the beach. Poor puppy :(. When we got back Sofia was insanely whingy. She was also like a little energiser bunny. She wanted to walk/run around the whole house – which we did.., but every time I said no to something she would cry. She pooed again – and same thing. Tears and constantly kicking and trying to turn – although at the end this time she actually cooperated. Then it was back to walking… I tried to get her to go holding on to just one hand because she’d done it a few times now and today she walked soooooo well. She didn’t want to all of a sudden and started crying – complete meltdown. We kissed and made up, had some laughs but she was still a bit whingy. Sofia had dinner and a bath and as I was about to sing to her Mike got home so we sang together and then she was in bed by 6.15pm.
