Mike went to workout and work early and I couldn’t get back to sleep. It was just as well as Sofia woke up as Mike had left just before 6. I got her at 6 after she’d been given the chance to wake up properly. We read a book and had a nice brekky. Afterwards we took Pablo for a walk. I had told her that I wanted her in the stroller at the start so that Pablo got a good, longer walk. She was also told that once we turned around she could walk if she wanted. She wanted, but then when she continually stopped and sat down. It took us 20min to move 10metres! I had said three times that she needed to walk or I would have to put her back in the stroller… It ended up with Sofia having a tantrum because she wanted to walk Pablo (who I had just put back on the lead because there was a dog coming) and I said she couldn’t because Pablo would pull too much. After that Sofia was put back in the stroller. She started having a tantrum and I reminded her of what I had said (that she needed to walk). She got quiet and let me strap her in. When we got close enough to the playground that she could see it I let her walk again, but there was a bush turkey that flew up into a tree so we got stuck there for a bit ha ha. She then got some time on the slides and swing, whilst poor Pablo was tied to a tree.
When it was getting time for us to leave I said Sofia could have 2 more times on the slide. She went down the little one on her own, and then the big one. She was so excited, so when she held her finger up for one more time I couldn’t say no. One more time it was :).
When we got home I got my swimming gear on, then packed the bag and got Sofia’s swimming gear on as well. Sofia absolutely loved swimming today. They got tested for how long they could hold their breath today and it was 6sec! The koala clinging phase is clearly over. She was jumping out to me. At one stage she just jumped straight down (feet first!) with thumb in her mouth and the other twirling her hair! No fear ha ha.
When we got back she was tired. I gave her an early lunch and she was in bed by 11am and asleep not long after.
Sofia woke up again after less than 1.5 hours however. I checked her nappy and tried to get her back to bed. She did try for awhile, but then gave up so I got her back up. Not long after she filled her nappy – I should have known. We had a play and a snack before I did some housework. I got some great help too! Whilst I did the guest bathroom Sofia cleaned her toilet and the toilet roll holder (I didn’t even tell her to do the last one). She did a really great job! When she was done in there she even did her desk and chair as well before she got bored. I kept going for a bit whilst she played.
Sofia now points out dirt to me. She points and says dirt. Then I have to clean it up he he. It’s cool though, means she’s listening to me when I say dirty things need to be cleaned up. I told Sofia it was Sofia and mummy time. I could tell she loved it. Usually something always comes up in between. We played and she had my undivided attention for an hour and a bit. Then I put on Peppa Pig (she really wanted to watch something) and started getting dinner ready. We ended up facetiming with Mormor and Morfar until dinner was ready. Mike also got home at the end of that. It was so nice to see them. I really miss them. So much going on with Sofia as well atm – I really wish we were a lot closer!
After dinner we had bath time (she brushed her teeth so well by herself !) and bed time. She fell asleep quickly.
Sofia woke up crying just after midnight. Her nappy felt really heavy so I changed it.

This film is one of my favorites!!!
I would have loved to have you close. But Face-Time make it more bearable. Looking SO forward seeing you all. She is so cute – and determined – like her mum 🙂

No fear, So funny the way she rushed into her little tent house – and then fell over……..-:)
